MEET THE team
Dr. Nina Nemetz Optometrist
Dr. Nemetz was born and raised in Linz, Austria, and immigrated to the United States in 1996. She received her Bachelor of Science from Portland State University and her Doctorate of Optometry at Pacific University in 2009. She moved to Maui in 2017 and will relocate to the Big Island in 2024. Dr. Nemetz specializes in comprehensive eye exams and ocular diseases. In her spare time Nina enjoys playing golf, hiking and snorkeling.
Roxanne Optician
Roxanne got her start as an optician in our Kona store. From there she studied in our lens lab perfecting her skills in lens finishing. She specializes in custom lenses and will edge them in the store while you wait. Her passion is helping each client find their individual style with eyewear.
Darcy ABO RDO Optician
Darcy is an ABO Certified Optician. She specializes in lens for all types of prescriptions and is a master frame adjuster. She owns stores in Palo Alto and Kona. She can repair just about any broken frame and knows exactly which type frame will look great on you.
Kris Optician
Kris has been in the optical industry for over 20 years and has worked in Washington State, California and Hawaii. She loves to help people find their personal style. In her free time Kris describes herself as a foodie and traveler.
