Dr. Jimmy Miyasaka
Dr. Jimmy Miyasaka, OD, MPH
Dr. Miyasaka is a skilled and compassionate optometrist providing expert eye care at Eyecare Waikoloa. He specializes in comprehensive exams, contact lenses, diabetic eye care, and more — always delivered with aloha.
Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, Dr. Miyasaka is also the founder of Menehune Basketball, a community program that promotes youth development and adult leagues across Oʻahu. Through the Menehune Sports Foundation, he blends sports and vision therapy to help young kids grow strong and confident.
Whether in the exam room or on the court, Dr. Miyasaka is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those he serves.

Roxanne began her optical journey right here in our Kona store. She quickly mastered lens finishing in our in-house lab and now specializes in custom lenses — often edging them while you wait!
With an eye for detail and a passion for style, Roxanne loves helping each client find the perfect frames that fit both their face and personality.while you wait. Her passion is helping each client find their individual style with eyewear.
